Kieferle & Partner are one of the Architectural Firms registered with Deutsche Bahn AG. Kieferle & Partner's projects for DB feature the Air Rail Center in the Stuttgart Main Station and the modernisation of various Train Stations in the Baden-Württemberg region. In 2003 Kieferle & Partner was awarded the contract to modernize the Bad Cannstatt Train Station. Located next to the Sports Stadiums, this Station underwent extensive modernisation for the Soccer World Cup in 2006. The entrance and exit leading from the Bad Cannstatt Station to the stadiums is treated with a modern design. This modern approach directly contrasts and complements the historic part of the Station, which was built in 1903.
During the same period, leading up to the 2006 World Cup, Kieferele & Partner were also involved in the renovation and interior re-design of Stuttgart's Main Station - a cultural monument in the heart of Stuttgart.
