Mineraltherme Böblingen is a Swimming, Spa and Wellness Centre. Kieferle & Partner was awarded the Design as a result of a winning entry in a Competition.
After the original opening in 1991 it became one of the most profitable Centres in Germany. Due to the increasing number of visitors and rising demand, an extension with a Sauna Park, two additional pools and the a Spa was added, and phase I underwent an extensive refurbishment.
Upon the re-opening at the end of 2003 the Mineraltherme now offers its visitors 6 indoor and outdoor pools, 7 saunas and steambath, beautifully landscaped outdoor areas and Spa facilities, as well as various restaurants.
