Internationally loaded competition in JV with Al Hashemi, Dubai.
In the desert of Dubai between Jebel Ali and Dubai originates a microelectronic park.
For the almost exclusive use of offices, this project was carried by the thought to create an artificial oasis which searches the direct dialogue between inside and outside space in the form of an folded up landscape and to make horizontal and vertical vegetation surfaces experienceable. The internal and external atriums which show the basic elements for the integrated energy-concept in addition to an innovative building technology, originate from conceptual subtraction of the volumes which should serve the natural exposure and ventilation. Taking into account all energetic measures this "Green-Building-Concept" achieves the gold LEED certification.
