DIFC is a Free Zone for Financial Services in the Centre of Dubai next to the Burj Dubai - the tallest building in the world - and Sheikh Zayed Road - Dubai's primary artery.

The prestigious development demands for iconic buildings and thus, a limited number of architectural firms were invited to propose a design for Plot 07.

Together with Al Hashemi Architects and Planners, Kieferle and Partner proposed a Tower with a unique silouette. Like a birds' nest on a stem, the residential section of Wing Tower offers views privacy high above the ground. Luxurious penthouses with terraces like ships' decks overlook Dubai and the Arabian Gulf.

Offices are located in the lower part of the tower built around an atrium. The complex features Restaurants and Boutiques located on Ground level.

The focus of this building design is on advanced technology. The building utilizes renewable energy and reduce environmental impact by using external wind currents to cool the internal atrium. New techniques allow further reductions in shaft sizes and generate additional leasable areas, enhancing the feasabilty of the project.
